She read it in the books that kept her better company than her father's hollow presents. She dreamt it as the sunshine whittled away into the quiet red skies. A kiss was all they asked for, and these were magical ingredients she had plenty to spare.

If a friend could be made with one kiss, all the frogs in the streams she crossed would be her friend, and all the dresses that would be sacrificed would be but a precious canvas of patterned memories.

And what a fairytale it has been-- for the princess to have finally found a prince among the frogs, whom she would accompany into the Happily Ever After she desperately sought.

Setting is Fantasy. There wasn't any information on the Frog Prince, so I just gave him some traditional Japanese clothing... umu;;; I have a couple of suggestions for names, but... ^q^;; I kind of feel like it's not my place to say, since it's not my character. "orz

Anyway, some background information on my character:
Once upon a time, there lived a beautiful princess
    that loves sweets more than anything
        and everything in the world.
            [...]

        She hardly laughed. She hardly smiled.
        When she did, her heart and words
    were as bitter and as ugly as the world she claimed was.
Even then, she was known as
                    the Sweet Princess.
The Sweet Princess is a princess sheltered in a castle abandoned of all souls, save one faceless and mysterious baker that delivers the sweets she loves everyday. She is a girl that knows only a life of isolation, happiness and pleasure. However, it is this untainted innocence to evil and the world which makes her unimaginably selfish, and-- consequently-- cruel.

Anyway, she's a kuudere. She's not necessarily mean; she just... lacks sensitivity and has no inner sensor when it comes to other people. She is inexperienced when it comes to relationships, but is willing to explore the world so long as it doesn't get in the way of what she thinks makes her happy (like her sweets). She can be kind, but only when it's not disadvantageous. xD

Basically more Sai practice. Since I'm getting more comfortable with the program, I'll probably start venturing into more complicated drawings in terms of composition and perspective.

My anxiety and depression is getting a little overwhelming right now, so I'm probably going to go into hiding for a while again. (': I'll reply to comments tomorrow morning, though, before disappearing.

The clash of the two cultures theme really sticks out to me. A beautiful, Western princess with a warrior from the far East. I especially like the differences in their details: the pink princess dress works really well with the green kimono. This really is quite an astonishing work of work!
